Multi-fractional complex prophylaxis powders PROFIFLUSS^®CX CompleX on the base of sodium bicarbonate with precisely selected combination of particles.

For over forty five years, air polishing technology or as it is often called air-flow technology has been used in dental practice. Especially for this technology the firm VRK Lab GmbH has created prophylaxis powders PROFIFLUSS^®CX CompleX.

The prophylaxis powders PROFIFLUSS^®CX CompleX are white powders on the basis of sodium bicarbonate and are for supragingival use only.

CompleX have 8 different aromas: ✦ lemon,
✦ strawberry, ✦ orange, ✦ black currant, ✦ cherry,
✦ apple, ✦ mint, and ✦ neutral, odorless.

The prophylaxis powders PROFIFLUSS^®CX CompleX are produced in compliance with ISO 20608:2018 "Dentistry - Powder jet handpieces and powders" and can be used with all dental cleaning and abrasion powder jet handpieces and systems, designed to work with these types of powders.

For the first time in world practice, these powders have a multi-fractional complex composition of particles. Precisely selected combination of particles of different fractions allows to fulfill air-flow technology procedures even more fast and with even more high quality results.

Having different kinetic energy, particles of different sizes behave differently in the air polishing process.

The large and heavy particles have a greater kinetic energy and stronger hit a dental deposit chipping away greater pieces.

Dental deposit breaks down quickly.

But after the main part of the dental deposit is removed, the main action of the particles falls already on the tooth enamel. And the particles begin to spend most there energy not on the destruction of the dental deposit, but on interaction with the tooth enamel.

Thus, large and heavy particles provide a high speed of the process at its beginning, but unnecessarily affect the tooth enamel at its end.

The small and light particles have a smaller kinetic energy and weaker hit a dental deposit chipping away smaller pieces.

Dental deposit breaks down slowly and may not even be completely removed.

Practically, during the entire process, the particles interact with dental deposit, have a limited affect on the tooth enamel, and, due to their smaller size, build a smoother surface at the end of the process.

Thus, small and light particles act weak and slowly, but build a smoother surface of the the tooth enamel.

The multi-fractional prophylaxis powders PROFIFLUSS^®CX CompleX contain precisely selected combination of large and small particles.

At the beginning of the air polishing procedure, the main role is played by large particles, which quickly remove the main part of the dental deposit. Small particles at the beginning of the procedure play an auxiliary role. But when the main part of the dental deposit is removed by large particles, small particles begin to play a major role in removing the remaining dental deposit. Thus, large particles provide the speed of the procedure, and small particles provide a smoother surface at the end of the procedure and absent of unnecessarily affect the tooth enamel.

Such united work of precisely selected combination of powder particles of different fractions allows you more quickly to get high quality result.
